Credit card interests have been skyrocketing for some time now and the recent credit crunch has made borrowing from banks harder and harder. Credit card costs have increased since the beginning of the year; there have been 22 purchase hikes and 15 cash rates increases for services such as balance transfers, cash withdrawals and foreign usage.
